Flavor Description
Elimbari represents the pinnacle of PNG smallholder coffee. At very high altitude, the beans develop exceptional density. Expect intense mulberry, raisin, and red wine notes, with a thick dark chocolate finish and superb sweet-acid balance.
Brewing Notes
- Pour Over: Medium grind, water temp 91–93°C, ratio 1:14. The stronger ratio showcases its complex fruit-wine character.
- Tip: As it cools, the flavor shifts toward a more pronounced dark molasses sweetness — well worth sipping slowly.
