Flavor Description
Prime is the most widely produced grade in Kona. While grading criteria for size are less stringent than Extra Fancy, it retains the core sweetness and mellowness of Kona. Expect maltose and roasted nut aromas with very low acidity and a rounded mouthfeel.
Brewing Notes
- Pour-over: Water temp 90°C, ratio 1:15. This bean is forgiving and very consistent.
- Tip: An ideal entry-level single origin or a perfect component for balanced blends.
