Flavor Description

This Attikan lactic-fermented lot shows very clear notes of yogurt, yellow peach, butterscotch, and ripe pear. Unlike the typical spice-and-cocoa image of Indian coffee, the acidity here behaves more like fruit yogurt driven by lactic character. The cup is smooth, sweetness is concentrated, and the finish still preserves a little hazelnut and milk chocolate to keep an Indian identity.

Why Modern Processing Matters

Lots like this belong in CoffeeWiki because they show that Indian specialty coffee is not limited to traditional washed and monsooned styles. India can now produce stable, competition-leaning modern ferment profiles without completely losing origin character.

Brewing Notes

  • Pour-over: 90–91°C water, ratio 1:15.5
  • Tip: Avoid overly high temperature to keep the lactic sweetness and creamy texture cleaner
