Flavor Description

Pacas is a Bourbon mutation and one of El Salvador’s most important signature varieties. This washed Santa Ana lot brings caramel, roasted almond, milk chocolate, and a touch of red-apple sweetness. The cup is round, smooth, and very low in aggression.

Why It’s Popular

It keeps the sweetness and balance that make El Salvador coffee so attractive, while being more stable and more affordable than many exotic varieties. That is why it remains common in the market.

Brewing Notes

  • Pour-over: Recommended water temperature 89–91°C, ratio 1:15
  • Clever Dripper: Also a strong choice, emphasizing its caramel-like sweetness
