Nueva Segovia Pacamara Washed
A high-altitude washed Pacamara from Nueva Segovia combining white florals, pomelo acidity, and a creamy competition-style texture.

Flavor Description
Nueva Segovia’s elevation and relatively dry climate are excellent for producing sharply defined washed lots. This Pacamara shows white florals, pomelo, sweet orange, and cane-juice sweetness. The cup feels dimensional and crisp at the front, then turns creamy with hints of almond cookie through the finish.
Why It Matters
Pacamara is often associated with bolder naturals or experimental processes, but in high-altitude Nueva Segovia a washed version can reveal far more floral detail and structural precision. It is a strong example of Nicaragua’s ability to deliver clarity as well as sweetness.
Brewing Notes
- Pour-over: Medium-fine grind, water temperature 91–92°C, ratio 1:16
- Tip: Slightly increase agitation in the first pours to help open up the floral and citrus layers
