This Lake Tawar Mandheling uses traditional wet-hulling, with medium-dark roasting perfectly tracing Sumatra's composed character. The dry aroma carries rich pine and spice notes. On the palate: dark-chocolate bitterness-sweetness with herbal (grass-jelly-like) sweet layers, full body with a faint earthiness, long finish and low acidity.
Brewing Notes
Pour-over: Medium grind, water temperature 88–90°C, ratio 1:13. Staged pouring recommended to reinforce the mid-palate herbal sweetness and body.
Highlight: Excellent as a single-origin drink, or blended with Brazil beans for a classic "Man-Ba" blend delivering outstanding viscosity and sweetness.
